we spend most of our time braking forward.
so, the pad and rotor combo make grooves and when you reverse brake, you disrupt the pattern.

Did that make sense?

i hear it with my TL too.

iCrap, if you're actually upgrading your pads/rotors, check if the sound is still there while the pads are still fresh.

So some guy today almost hit me by not checking his blind spot and trying to change lanes, and then afterwards, tries to apologize and wave his hand while he's directly next to me and almost hit me again, because he was looking at me through his passenger window/hand wasn't on the wheel. SMH.

So yesterday i was that guy who washed his car in 10 degree weather.
I had to put it in my friends garage afterwards.
Also changed that factory battery to a better one.
Scene points for me or no?

I need to do the same. My car is white with salt.

Many years ago I washed my Trooper in weather like this and the next morning the doorlocks, doors, and windows were frozen. The calibers and engine had a light glaze of ice too. It started right up!

I went through a touchless car wash the other day in -20C weather I couldn't bear the amount of salt and grime on my car anymore. I took extra long to get out of the wash so that the blow dryer could get most of the water off my car before it could freeze. I also checked each door handle afterwards and dried them up (inside and out) with a microfibre towel.

^Bro, you don't even know.

Welcome to Canada

I couldn't open any of my doors for the longest time. No autostarter at the time to help me defrost anything. I took a risk and poured (room temp) water over the door handles to get into my car, and waited forever for the ice to thaw after I got the car on.

There's your answer. Hard braking shifted the weight to the front and then the turn-in to the right shifted it again to the left before the rear end could settle back down.

Besides e-braking, that's about the easiest way to get a SUPER DORIFTO CAR-U started in a slide. With RWD you'd start manipulating throttle and steering to keep it from snapping over. With FWD you can just bury the go pedal and it'll pull out of the skid nine times out of ten*.

It's really easy if you happen to be turning on an off-camber turn that further disturbs the weight balance. You could totally do it again if you try. Go fast, brake hard, crank the wheel. Avoid hard, immovable objects.

*assuming good conditions, offer not always valid on loose dirt or ice/snow.

another way is called Lift off over-steer.
bury the throttle and mid-turn, lift off the skinny pedal.

Well if it was totaled, theoretically you wouldn't be able to sell half those parts...
