2011 tsx wagon lowering questions

Ok so after two days of reading i still have a few questions before i order my lowering springs. First off I have decided that coil overs are just out of my budget for now so I'm thinking of the 1 inch drop eibachs unless anyone has a better recommendation.Does anyone have the correct part number for the wagon springs. Also do i need anything else for the alignment like adj ball joints or camber kits. One last question is there a difference on any of the window air deflectors that go above each window.

Dunno about the part numbers. I'd probably ask eibach if I were you.

Most likely need camber kit for rear.

Springs only will add wear and tear to shocks, judt saying.

I would probsbly go with Tein s tech springs or h&r.

Go to mfg or seller for part number.its not a secret..

I dont like window visors cause thry break up the chrome.

IMO rear camber kit won't be necessary on Eibachs. They have the least amount of drop of the 3 (Eibach, H&R, TEIN S-Tech), so the rear camber won't be affected much. I haven't bothered with a rear camber kit yet, as I've read that toe is the main concern for tire wear, and not so much negative camber. If it's the looks that bothers you, a rear camber kit will be necessary.

Rob is definitely on point about the stock shocks. They will prematurely give out when used with lowering springs, so beware. But again, with a very mild drop from something like the Eibachs, this may or may not happen to you.

Onto (one of) the initial question, call the manufacturer for part numbers if you're still unsure.

Whichever you do.....if the visors are ON TOP of the trim it looks like shit to me unless the trim matches. .

I painted door handles to colormatch a nd remove some chrome.

I'm not sure Eibach has specific wagon springs, but I'm using sedan Eibach Pro Kits - PN 4077.140. Rear camber is impacted significantly, relative to stock but its not crazy, if that bothers you. Mine is at -3 on both sides, fronts are around -1. I got the toe fixed and tire wear is not an issue.

Hey Rob, how much it run you to colour match the handles? I'd love to do this but the only info I've gathered is from kostantinos and doing his cost quite a bit. Guess you gotta pay to play. Plus I hear white is hard to match... I'm thinking painting them BWP will have slight mismatch with the rest of my car.

I'm thinking of putting a smoke vinyl over the chrome trim and the 2011+ rear chrome bar. The chrome isn't so bad on a white car, but I can do with much less of it.

i paid 140 for 4 used handles on car-part.com
then savclaude painted them for me. it was reasonable there are 8 pieces. and sav knows what he is doing....this is what he does for a living too.
kk has an easy way to swap them....literally 1 hour for the first one while you figure it all out......20-30 minutes each for the rest and that includes time to remove the door panel.

then i sold my door handles for 140/

So i would think negative camber would wear inside of tires is this not true. what is the acceptable range for camber. Also puppetmaster did you need to buy after market kit to fix toe or was there enough adjustment to correct with factory equipment

I'm dropped on TEIN Street Basis coilovers with about 1/2 finger gap on 18x9.5 +45 wheels. I'd say my drop is far from mild. I got my alignment done a couple of weeks ago, and they corrected the toe to 0 for fronts I think and 0.1 for rears. No camber kit. Camber on the other hand cannot be corrected much for the rear. I don't remember my settings but they weren't much different after alignment.

I'm not using any adjustment kit. They can adjust toe back to stock just fine, I got mine slightly toe in deliberately.

Here are notes from my install, along with some camber specs.

https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tsx-tires-wheels-suspension-300/notes-koni-eibach-diy-install-890160/

Finally, one thing I forgot is that if you are using stock struts and Eibachs, the rear will likely be lower because of the weight. I am using Koni Sports/Yellows that have two spring perch positions and using the lower position on the front (additional .5" of lowering approx) and upper position in the rear, and only then is it an even drop.
