Transmission Park to Reverse jerky only when cold
Transmission Park to Reverse jerky only when cold
2003 TL-S. 274,000 miles. Original transmission.
Recently observing that transmission shifts from Park to Reverse has noticeable jerk but only when cold. Park to Drive has little jerk but much less compared to Reverse.
Within few minutes of warm up, all gearshifts are perfect and no issue. Long drives- No issues- No slippage.
Is there a gradual damage internal to transmission. I do 3 x 3 oil change with Acura oil every 30,000 miles

harmonic balance? you mean the crank pulley? that's on one side of the engine and involves work with only one of the many mounts. the front and rear mounts are known to wear out and contribute to a clunk when the engine torques due to stepping on the gas or switching from going one way or another.
