Delay and thump when changing from P,R, D

I get a slight thump and the car has a slight shake and delay when I change from Park to reverse, to drive etc...

Is this a sign that my transmission is going out? I still have acuracare till 105k miles and right now it's at around 98.5k so hopefully it is covered.

That shouldn't be happening.

when it happens, it only happens for a a second max and operates normally. i usually just let it wait a few second before going in reverse after changing it to R.

Mine does that very subtly as well, and I only have a little over 9K miles. I think it's normal.

How pronounced is the "thump" and "shake?"

it's faint but noticible. I experience more of a thump when I go from reverse to drive compared to park to drive or park to reverse. ...i think i should check it out soon...i've already been to the dealership for two fixes covered under acuracare
