P0122 indicates a problem with the throttle position sensor. It can be replaced without replacing the entire throttle body. It's an easy DIY.

Map sensor can be replaced, the TP sensor can not be removed, if your TP sensor goes you need a new throttle body.

i'm sure if he really want to go through the hassle of taking of the TPS he can do, i have a skunk2 throttle body on gsr that didn't come with a TPS so i took one off another throttle body which i'm sure is revitted on the sam as the TL.

fsttyms1,

I think you are the Guru here so I want to ask you this question:

Do you think getting aftermarket spacers from www.outlawengineering.com is worth it?

Thanks!

It all depends on what your looking to achieve. If your trying to find more HP there are better things LIke the UR Pully, and headers. Many have them and like what they have noticed.
