I'm in the process of cleaning my Intake manifold and egr ports, I have everything out except I can't get the throttle cables loose, FATTYMS HEEEEELPPP!!!

 

Pull back on the mechanism that controls the plate, and you will get some slack in the cable. The end of the cable is secured onto the mechanism with a nub on the end. You just have to twist that out of the mechanism and the cable will come free.

let us know how she runs after you're done cleaning. I noticed a big difference when I cleaned mine and install Thermobloc spacer kit.
