"Small Light" Fuse keeps blowing

I just recently installed a new head unit, and that night I go to turn the lights on and boom, the "small light" fuse blows. So I replaced the fuse and it just blew again when I turned the lights on.

Why would the "small light" fuse keep blowing? I double and triple checked all the wiring that I did and it's all fine. No exposed wires. And I didn't even go near anything that would be on the "small light" circuit. I just don't understand.

Is there a wiring diagram of everything that is on the "small light" circuit? Anyone have any other ideas?

Well it looks like it is the head unit harness. I still don't know where I went wrong in the wiring though. I guess I will explore more.

Its in your wiring im guessing. Id look at what you have connected to the radios dimmer wire.

It was the dimmer/illumination wire on the harness that was causing a problem. You were right. I couldn't figure out how it was wired incorrectly but it doesn't matter because everything still works fine with it disconnected.

Thanks fstty!

Looks like the red wire off the head unit goes to the brightness control.
