Replacing a burned-out bulb...
there is a basic diy- you want to test the bulb if you didnt notice failure signs like pink tint on startup of light and it suddenly dies
If not sure- like you had condensation inside the housing...it may be bulb or more.
Swapping them left to right headlights will tell you if its good bulb
Now the scary part- these are pricey bulbs- Excelerate has a special ziner price on Kaixen brand, 109 pair-shipped- dealer price on 1 bulb= 175$!
PM him for details or look in Sponsored Sales threads
and you always replace bulbs in pairs to keep the color and output even, or be a cop magnet
requires a special torx security bit #20 or a dremel~ to remove the covers onthe back of the housing- can be done by moving a few things out of the way--
and some small needle nose pliers to move the metal retainer arm spring

Hey , just wondering. Do cops say anything when i driving around with 8000k Heads and Fogs ?
Tom pretty much told you what you need to know. It took me about 30-45 minutes to replace the passenger side because it was my first time and I didnt want to break anything. Then it took me 15 minute to do the driver side.

Hummm that sucks, I don't have a #20 screw and I'm doing it at the moment. It's dark and then I'll do it tomorrow.
BTW the passenger side looks easy but for the driver side did you guys have to remove the intake box so you have more room?

Just got done and to tell you the truth it's not as easy as it looks. Actually this is the hardest bulb I've ever tried to replace.
Just gotta mention that on the DIY link they didn't say to unplug the harness to the high light/power. I was trying to unlock the cover and it took me like 20+min to realize that the cover has a bracket and it was hitting the plug. Also the the driver side I had to remove tube for the intake resonator so I have more room. For the passenger side I remove the wind shield fluid nozzle and slipped off the power steering reservoir to give me just a bit more room but it was still a dam tight fit.
I don't know why honda engineer made it harder than it needs to be. I mean it wasn't that hard but still when you think about changing a bulb you should be able to do it with one eye and one hand. It was annoying that they had to use a weird screw to hold the cover which I had to go and buy a whole set of tamper proof bits and probably never use again until these bulbs go out
Could have just use a dam phillip screw.

Order them off Ebay. I paid $89.00 for 2 Philips bulbs. You just have to wait a few days for them to arrive.
