i bough a pair of pioneer ts-a6992s 6x9 and i just realized that the acura tl takes 5 1/4 not 6x9 i also bought infinity kappaz and they are also 6x9... what can i do to fit these in? has some one ever put 6x9 in the doors??

 

Sell them and get the correct speakers. 6.5s fit in the car

Id rather mount the stock sub, 1 in each door if i were to start nibbling.

 

has anyone tryed using cl speaker grills in the rear in a tl? they look like they would work. just a thought.

 

Way better off to buy the correct size speakers, unless you have the skills to hack your doors up, or pay a pro.

 

 

but the rear deck isnt able to accept speakers

 

so any 6.5 speakers will work right?

 

If for the doors, check the height of the magnet. Make sure it will clear all moving parts inside the front doors.
