Removed Exhaust Resonator - Threw a 02 Sensor Code!!

Well @#%^&@$#% if i didnt remove the large resonator (small already removed) on the exhaust at muffler king, and the next day my car engine light went on. I went to jotech who read a 02 sensor code and re-set it. 5 min later it lit up again. Before going to jotech i diconnected the battery. Dammit i have inspection out next month. Anyone know what i need to look for??

removing the resonator didnt cause the 02 sensor to go bad. Did the place or you let the exhaust fall enough to damage the o2 sensor??

not that i could tell. I was right there and they had two different adjustable holders holding up the exhaust. what does the o2 sensor look like so i can tell if its cut/damaged. Also where can i get a device to simulate the o2 sensor. I gotta pass inspection.

there are 2 of them. Both attach to the exhaust. 1 before the cat and one on the cat. You need to find out what sensor it is. There isnt much to look at to see if there is damage unless you can see a damaged wire. Finding simulators is harder to do. Its illegal to run. Find out which o2 is bad or throwing the code, inspect it/replace it.
