Misfire problem Help!

I have this very annoying mifire issue. Its a 00' TL with 283K on the clock. Ive been dealing with this or a few weeks and have started to notice a pattern. It will not miss when its cold. After driving around town on a warm day, I shut it off, try to restart it, it wil start and miss badly, and the cel flashes. I have to drive it or rev the hell out of it before it clears up. Sometime it will not start at all unless I hit it with a shot of ether or carb cleaner.
Codes are misfire 1-6, random cylinder misfire, and a manufacturer specific code. I cant figure this out and its buggin the hell out of me, and its kinda embarassing ridin around with a freind, having them compliment you on your car....then it wont start an runs like ass. Any deas?

There is a service bulletin for this. ECM replacement and fuel pressure regulator.

Our cars commonly have coil packs go bad. Buy one and swap it around to see if it clears up the issue. (for more info search the forum, there is plenty) If you havent already put new plugs in it. I would also recommend seafoaming the engine and adding it to the fuel as well to clean the injectors. If you continue to have it you may have other problems that we can get into then.

I have be through 3 cans of seafoam in the last few weeks. Not so sure its a coil pack because it misfires random cylinders, the scanner says its every one of them. It deinitely seems like a fuel related issue. Im gonna try that fpr and see if it does the trick. ECM replacement? Post a link to the TSB please....thanks for the help, it woulnt start on 4 different occasions today while I was doing things around town.

That is VERY common on these cars and is usually just 1 coilpack.

A good scanner will usually put the one thats misfiring first like P0303 then followed by the rest in order. If not the best way is to buy 1 new coil pack start on one of the cyls and replace the stock one with the new one. Reset the ECU (by pulling clock backup fuse if you dont have a code reader) and go for a drive. If it comes back put the stock one back on and repeat procedure to next cyl. Repeat till you find the bad one.
