When turning left or right,
sometimes the signal light cuts off at random times...

Can anyone help?

 

How's your connections? If the light blinks fast when it's working it's just a bad bulb.

 

Yeah, check the bulbs and connections first.
It could be that your flasher relay is going bad ?

 

It used to be working fine last week, then suddenly it became weaker...
I turn left for example it works for a couple seconds and it cuts off and I'd have to lift the lever back up and put it back down to signal

Where can I check the connections or that flasher relay you were talking about?

 

So, both sides of the turn signals are affected when attempting to activate the switch ?
It could possibly be the stalk switch itself going bad. Does your 4 way emergency flashers work when their switch is turned on ? If the turn signal lamps all work and you hear the relay under the driver's side dash clicking, then I'd look at the stalk switch.

But, if not.....then check all the turn signal lamp's sockets, wiring connections and grounds for anything that may cause a problem. If all the lamps check out, then look under the dash for the flasher relay for the turn signals. If good, it should click when the switch is turned on.
