Creaking noise coming from the backend.
When ever I stop (hard and soft) and accelerate I hear this creaking noise (like some one walking around in an old house with squeaky wood boards) coming from my backend, I thought it was coming from the trunk so checked and everything looked securely in place, I dont know it might be coming for the wheel well, would it be my suspension perhaps? I dont hear this noise when I turn, only stopping mostly (I hear it more when I brake harder).

I get the same sound, I have checked everything as well and cant find a thing wrong. Hopefully someone can help us, it drives me crazy. Mine doesn't do it all the time. It almost sounds like something is loose or maybe even the caliper is sticking. I'm unsure.

I have a 2003 TL-S and I have been hearing the same thing I believe the past couple of weeks. It almost sounds like something banging an aluminum frying pan when I brake. I just installed brand new Rotora Slotted rotors with HAWK pads. It happened before that with my OEM brakes as well.

I have a similar sound when I brake hard...although it sounds more like a higher pitched squeaking sound. To me, it sounds like it's coming from the front end, but I can't tell very well. I thought it was maybe a squeaky spring seat or something...but now it sounds like a more common problem.
I have an 03 TL-S too...I guess it's a gremlin with our year/model?

I thought it was something simple, like the spare wheel. I tightened the sparewheel but it still makes that noise, I have loosened it, I'll see what I hear in the next couple days.
