i have the exact same problem but took it to the acura dealership to repair and they said there is nothing they can do. something like it had to do with the fuel line, not to sure, but i hate it, these may not be maybachs, but they are considered luxury , and shouldn't be making these noises. someone with knowledge please respond.

is it more like a ticking noise by the drivers side rear wheel?

i notice it there, yes, only when i am outside the car, from the drivers seat it sounds as if it is coming from the engine compartment, right behind the steering column

Well you have 2 different noises. One is the Purge control solenoid (the noise heard from in the car) and the EVAP canister noise. Both are semi normal, neither mean there is a problem. Neither will harm the car. You can replace them if you want. the sound typically goes away in warmer weather.

I have a similar noise but from the passenger side and it is when I start the car sometimes. Rev it up and it goes away. But its a clicking and if I put my hand on the passenger side floor against the console it is directly behind there. I was wondering if there may be a relay behind it acting up. I dont know what would cause this thump because I can feel it! Any ideas?

I have the same problem, but its when I go over a small bump or something, the seat like rattles, or even if I push the seat from the back a lil, it makes like a clicking noise, like if something is loose, its the drivers seat.
