bunch of dumb problems wit my new tl.. locks, hid's, dome

recently got myself a 2000 tl, and theres a few nagging issues, was wondering what u guys think and if theres any fixes without just replacing stuff..

1. rear passenger door lock. when i first got the car, it was jammed unlocked. i took off the panel and just forced it by the rod and i got it loose and then worked normally. today (about 2 weeks later) i just noticed that again it wouldnt lock, this time i was able to manually force it to lock and now again it locks and unlocks fine....

2. passenger front lock. buzzes very loud when electronically unlocking. kinda funny to scare the crap outta the passenger when its quiet, but id like to fix it if possible lol

3. heat/ac blower is very loud, makes like a fast loud ticing noise, the faster the speed the louder. maybe a leaf or something in there?

4. dome light. at first it didnt work at all, on any setting. 2 days ago i realized it was working on all settings as it should. today once again its not working. tried giving it a bang, nothing.

5. headlights.. passenger side mostly, but sometimes both. they shut off randomly and i have to turn them off then on. sometimes it seems when i hit a bump, sometimes it doesnt. seems more common when its raining. headlights on the car were DIY black housing, the driver side def. doesnt look sealed well. could it possibly be a connection or bulb issue? or does that sound like the ballasts going bad?

this is just the start, i have a bunch of other things that need attention but id like to clear up these annoying things quickly, and help is greatly appreciated.

Has the car ever been in a flood? Some of the intermittent electrical problems almost sound like water corrosion issues.

The headlight issues might be tough to track down since both sides have problems. And, as you probably know, the headlight components are insanely expensive. That's why they're often stolen.

locks, take the panels off and try spraying something like wd40 or similar on them to help lube them up. The buzzing may ba a actuator going bad, take the glovebox off and clean the filter area out and (probably just replace the filters while in there)Click here for how to get to filter lights could be ballasts or bulbs going out.

if you hear a ticking from your fan you may just have some maple seeds (the helicoptors) or something like that in there. unfortunately to remove the fan i'm pretty sure that you need to bleed the A/C (i know that was the case on my friend's prelude), although you may be able to clean it without doing all that.

as for the domelight, if you have a voltmeter check for power at the leads coming into the switch in the roof. if you have power but it doesn't work then the switch may need replacing or just cleaning. i'm sure you can find new ones on ebay.

now for the light bulbs it does sound like a water/corrosion issue. clean and reseal your headlight housings and check all your connections for tightness and corrosion. it may not even hurt to wrap the connectors in electrical tape if you have any doubts.

i had the same issue with my hid's...the passenger side would shut off when I hit a bump. Ended up being a corroded wire between on the plugs. Replaced it and works fine now.

aight well today i fixed the dome light lol... took out the bulb and it turns out that one end had like a shell of corrosion on it, i cleaned that off and tightened the contact clips since the bulb was kinda loose, and now thats fine

as for the headlights, i changed the bulbs today, so ill have to wait till i do some night driving to see if anythign changes. but the ballast and plugs all looked good, there was no dirt or anything inside the housing where the ballasts are

and that dam passenger rear lock was stuck again today, just forced it loose again. ill have to get in there one day and see if i can wd40 it up, but if i remember correctly i think the locks are basically a metal box and u cant really get to the insides that well

I used to have a 97 Accord and my lock used to buzz insanely loud to. We had the actuator in the door replace and back to silent unlocking/locking.
