3rd and 4th gear pressure switch

Was having the usual tranny problems(blinking d, going into safe mode, and p0780, p0740,) I first did the external filter change. And the 3x3 using demitsu fluid. Then I forget the exact code but it gave me the code for the bigger solenoid with 2 connectors and the 3 filters that get clogged i believe it is called the an and b transmission solenoid. So I switched that out. Singles out my problem to be from 2-3 and 3-2 so I decided to switch out both of these switches and my tranny has miraculously came back to life. Who knows for how long and how long it will be before I do the av6 swap considering I have a heavy foot and if this tranny can’t take it, it’s gotta go lol.

here’s a video I made if it can be of any use to anyone go on ahead

Nice job & thanks for the video!

However, if you purchased those two switches, with the Honda branding shown on the video, online for $30 usd the probability is high that they are most likely aftermarket non-OEM.
Hopefully they give you & the transmission long life utility, though on the other hand, don't be surprised if one or both fail in a short period of time.

In addition, the OEM website below has the #13; 3rd gear black 28610-RKE-004 as the superseded replacement for 28600-P7Z-003 shown on the video.

You can also see that the original factory switches removed utilized a 90471-PW7-A00 aluminum 10mm gasket versus an o-ring.
Not sure if that matters, though when I replaced mine (CL-S) they (each switch) had two 90471-PW7-A00's because the tranny rebuilder (from previous owner) reused the old switches and mistakenly put on another 90471-PW7-A00 each .

As you mention, the only real long term remedy for these glass transmissions is the AV6 swap.
