Planning to paint calipers
I am planning to clean and paint my calipers in the middle of august so those are the 4 colors that I have picked out, but cant decide on which to go with, help!
Just another thought I am getting Rotora Slotted rotors as well, soon.
Here are pics of my car, that I will be painting over the calipers:

So what color guys? Here are some pics:

Pics are just for reference, post up pics of actual colors on 2nd gen tl's!

Yeah, same I am going for those complete caliper kits. Keep the opinions comming! Would black really stand out tho?

Are there any special prep process that one should comply to when painting calipers? Beside making sure the surfaces are clean? How long would it take for the paint to dry? I want to paint mine a glossy black but I'm not quite sure if the coarse surface of the caliper itself would be a problem.

http://www.duplicolor.com/products/caliper.html
it includes the cleaner spray that will help you remove the dirt, dust and whatnot from you calipers and make the paint stick to it once cleaned.
EDIT: there is a video demo also on that page showing you how to use it as well.
I went with black on my NBP and you can't really tell that I did anything, which is the look I was going for. I want everything on the exterior of my car black. Just a heads up in case you are looking for a drastic change. Good Luck.

I think I've decided on a subtle black look. I am gonna paint it that black color with the DupliColor Caliper kit. I think the black will stand out more once I get my brand new Rotora Slotted front rotors installed compared to these nasty rusting, no-name brand rotors that I have on now.
Based upon the pics of the instruction book, I would advise you buying a wire brush to scrape off any rust or other crap off the calipers before using the brake cleaner (ie organic solvent). It'll make the surface smoother so your paint job will look better, IMHO. Wish I did that to my car ... did the extra step on my ex's black Accord coupe -- it looks way better.

Ok thanks for the tip!
But when I use the wirebrush do I need to use anything else with it? any other solvents? Or do I just scrub away with the brush then proceed to using the brake cleaner?

Just my opinion, but black will go much better than red on a Naples Gold.
