For those with the UR Pulley set installed

Do you guys have any whining noise coming from your AC belt?

I can't hear it with the windows up, but with the windows up I can clearly hear it whine whenever I turn the AC on.

I think I read about this before, but wasn't sure if there was a solution (other than putting the stock AC pulley on - which is not an option at this point).

Thanks

UR doesn't sell an A/C pulley but if you mean the UR crank pulley make sure to check your belts. If you didn't replace your belts try replacing them with Gates belts. Also, if your belts are fine try checking the tension on the belts to make sure that isn't the reason they are making noise.

Excelerate, I bought the UR Pulley set. THought it came with crank, alternator and AC?

Either way, I am using gates belts, and how can i check the the tension? thanks

Edit: and again, the sound only appears when I turn on the AC. Any reason why?

I think all 99-03 v6 Hondas makes a whining A/C noise its very common. Sounds more like a squeaking noise.

Crank, alt, and power steering.

You can get a belt tension tool. We just do it by feel b/c we have done it a number of times but generally you should only be able to bend the belt 90 degrees.

It could squeal b/c of improper tension, cheap belts, worn belts, etc
