that's one of the best ones i could get.

i know what you are talking about, i was stuck for a bit when i was doing mine, their instructions aren't the best. but you have to disconnect the pvc pipe and connect the breather hose (injen supplied) and then you couple the two hoses together with the white coupler supplied by injen. pretty easy, but instructions are misleading.

2 possible things being talked about.

1.) the 99 had a mini radiator in the intake that needed to bypass. If you dont have a 99 skip that step.

2.) the throttle body coolant hose. Bypassing that will make the TB cooler. Take the coolant hoses off the TB and connect them together. (cant see them with the engine cover on.

I am trying to install a new intake on my 99 TL what should i do about that mini radiator in order to bypass it? the intake will not fit with that setup in place.

So when I take out the large hose and replace it with the injen 20" injen hose, the smaller hose that went along with the larger one goes where? The directions say to just remove it, do I really just remove it? And what 2 lines are connected by the 1/4" coupler, I dont understand that one.

Reroute the hose to the back side of the engine and then you will have enough slack for the coupler. You should have both the metal lines removed completely.
