My CD Changer is jammed with a burned CD. From what I was told, they can't handle them well because they are a different thickness. So my question is what aftermarket player can I buy to replace this.. Please help me out.

 

dealer aint going to help u at all. they will "fix" it for 350 bucks. burned CD thing is not true.

rip out the old one and go to Crutchfield

you need a face plate adpater and any signal din will fit. wire it up with the metra harness to the 4 door speakers and wire the sub in with this thread https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...1&postcount=90

i went with a kendwood - there are no cd player that just slip right in with out the face plate.

Woah, you don't have to "rip" anything out.

Happens pretty often. I found a thread around that solved the problem right quick.

good post but i think he is also looking to replace it too.

for rob02tl just Crutchfield and "outfit your car" and win. after u choose a head unit they will set u up with the face plate and metra harness for free most of the time. the only custom thing u have to do is wire up the sub which took me a long time and a lot of trial and error.

if ur going to replace ur head unit plan on spending some time on it. you cant be afraid to take ur whole center console apart. but hey, go for it you might learn something.
