i've seen tons of threads about the OEM lip kit on the 2nd Gen TL's.. even a few DIY's on Removing the Stock pieces.

but nothing on how to get the new ones back on.

I know, just do the exact opposite right? wrong..

one the orignal sides are unbolted and slid off the car, you reveal a series of about 10 Plastic tabs that are square in shape and stuck in by round expanding bolts... like this

now these tabs posed easy to remove the first set of sides... but the problem is,they are easily disturbed and turned on contact... and end up looking more like this...

this disallows the sideskirt to be slid on..

this poses abig problem to me when trying to slide on the new OEM Side Skirts.. im goin about this the exact way the old ones came off. but this has taken up a day of time and becoming restless...

any help would be GREATLY appreciated.. i really dont want to pay acura to do this..and possibly rig it up just as good as i could anyway...

got it all figured out guys.... thanks for the links....
i woulda never pulled those tabs out on my own...

ps. The Acura Mech. told me to just "try harder to slide it on the white tabs"

good thing i didnt listen to him... moron
