Carbon Fiber B Pillar

I did my B pillar mod today. Took them off and wrapped them in carbon fiber.

Looks good. I was thinking about getting the same type for my TL. Where did you get yours? How long and was it a pain to do? I saw a few DIY's on here for it. DOesen't look to bad.

It wasn't that bad, the hardest part is wrapping the vinyl without any creases or bubbles. It took me about two hours to do both sides. No biggie, but it really makes the car look a lot better.

Nice!
I did the same thing a while ago.
What Vinyl did you use?
I used the 3M 1080 Wraps that have 'nano tubes' to channel the bubbles out. Actually worked out well, surprised myself!

Hey Gabru678, I used the thicker 3M material, it's actually textured and it feels and looks way better than the nano tube stuff. This is as close to the real carbon that you can get

NYanks78 I took the pillars off my car and wrapped them in vinyl. My buddy owns a sign shop here in Montreal, I got the vinyl from him. Most sign shops will carry something similar
