Will stealership cover starter?
Hey guys I need some help again! Tonight when I started my car, it wouldn’t turn over at first, it would make a click click click sound, and finally it would start. After doing a “search” I narrowed it down to dead battery? Which makes sense, since this is an OEM from a 2000 TL. Or it could be the starter? The question is, if it is the starter, would my 7-year/100,000 mile Powertrain Limited Warranty cover it? Thanks for any input.

Thanks guys! i hope it is the battery, won't check till monday. Just crossing my finger it isn't the starter, because from the other thread, cost is around 2-5 hundred bucks. That is why i brought up my powertrain warrenty. Wouldn't the starter be part of the "powertrain?

Powertrain is the engine and transmission. As long as the transmission shifts properly ( good luck with that!) and the engine runs fine, that's what matters. Although it's hard for an engine to run if you can't start it.
