Whinning, Please go Away!!!!!!

I got my transmission changed at 70k, then ever since i picked it up it had a whining noise. From then on i had 2 transmission bolts replaced because they were broken. ($1000). It seemed as though the noise went away for a week or so...Then it cam back. At 80k i went to the delarship and went on a test run with the mechanic and he said it is a whining transmission. They ordered a new one and it i still whining. I do not know what to do. Should i go to the dealer and say what??? What can it possibly be....I am thinking the same exact noise had not gone away after 1st transmission and after 2nd....could there possibly be a couple more transmission bolts broken...Please help

your chances of getting a bad tranny from the factory are the same on each one. take it back and document your problems. I did, and have a lawyer now.

are you telling me they made you pay for broken transmission bolts? that is a manufacturing defect, not a driver caused problem.

if you have whining again then take it back and demand it gets fixed. if my second tranny goes i'm trading it in for a BMW or an audi. i have no patience for this stuff.

i have read on this forum that a lot of people have been replacing there idler pulley and the heat shield for the A pipe. Would that have naything to do with the whinning?

By the way, the transmission bolts that were broken, 2 of the,, they said the reason for that is because my car is lowered and therefore puts too much tension on the transmission...for that reason they made me pay for it. Is that legit???

Could be a wheel bearing. I thought my whining noise was tranny but it was my left front wheel bearing.
