Urgent: V-afc Ii Install Problem
I just got done hooking up my v-afc II to my ecu and got everything puy back together. I haven't programmed the V-afc yet and I took it for a test drive just to see how my car overall rean. Well everything seemed fine and I gave it a little gas and the throttle started to studder. No matter what the RPM's do NOT go above 4000. If anyone knows what to do so that I can drive it around without problems before I get it dyno tuned?
how many times will we have to say this:
if you do not know what you are doing, take your car to a shop and have them install and dyno tune the v-afc.
now what i would do is slowly drive to a reputable shop and have them tune it for you...

This should be a lesson to ALL people who install parts without reading any of the supplemental liturature. With ApexI electronics you need to program the electronic piece for the specific car BEFORE you EVER start the car. Otherwise the electronic piece is sending the wrong info to the ECU and the cars computer gets very confused.
Heres the manual, set the car up right... http://www.apexi-usa.com/productdocu...ics_vafcII.pdf
