TLS getting slow?

What's wrong with my car...it is getting really slow. I thought it was just in my head but even when my dad and brother drove it, they noticed it was lacking in power. The RPMS seem to be going up slower and overall response is starting to suck. The car feels slower than when it was stock. And another thing, my CAI isnt as loud as it usually is. It doesnt scream as loud as it used to. Even at night in the cold weather, the extra kick the car usually gets isnt there. I know its not just my imagination because all my friends noticed it too. Could there be anything wrong with my car? If any of you can give your insight on this, that would be great.

Ya it sounds like the 2nd stage air intake butterfly is not activating. It should open at about 4200 rpms.

well here's the problem you may run into. If it has anything to do with loss of power, the general answer you should expect is "The problem is not with the car, it's with your CAI". My guess is they will blame it on something like that. And on top of which, they don't have to prove anything. The fact that the Air intake system has been tampered with, is good enough grounds to deny you of the proper service. I would take it too a garage and have them look into the actuator problem.

good luck.

It's probably your oxygen sensor, when that goes bad milage and performance go out the window. However you cars almost brand new, Check that actuator thing.

Check your tire pressure. Like a donkey I've been driving around with my tires at 23-26 psi the last few weeks and the car felt sluggish. I went to the track tonight and found out afterwards. I upped the tire pressure to 34 psi and sure enough the car feels stronger! Wish I knew before I ran!
