First don't go to the dealership to swap the suspension. You can get great instructions on "abunchofcars.com". It should only take you about 3-4 hours if this is the fist time you are doing suspension work. If you have to go to the dealership then you should only look at 2-3 hours tops, and that is if they suck. Really though, it really is quite easy to do it. Think about it. This also depends on if you are working on the 3rd gen or the 2nd gen because I have NO experience with the 3rd gen... Good luck!

took me 6.5 hours my first time with no air tools. and i would consider myself extremely mechanically inclined. i would say do it yourself, but get a friend to help and rent some airtools. they are well worth it.

I just had this done by a local shop, and they broke it down like this.

1.9 hours for the front springs/shocks.
1.9 hours for the rear springs/shocks.

3.8 total hours.

I think the book does say it takes 2.5 to 3 hours to do this. I had it done in 1 3/4 hours.
