Hi, first off, please no flames Ok, to the question, in the summer I plan on buying the new StreetGlow LED Undercar kit. I have a 1999 TL and by summer I should have H&R Sport springs, but I will have no bodykit yet. Will I be able to put on the neons without having a bodykit, and without the bulbs hanging down? I would probably have in done professionally. Does anyone know how much that would cost? Thanks in advance!!

As far as I know, from what I see of my friend's, if you do not have a bodykit, they WILL hang down visibly. My friend made that mistake. He had to get the bodykit for it and he didn't even want it...he was looking to get only the lights, but after putting them on, he noticed it looked like ****, so he bought a wingswest bodykit anyway...good luck though...pm me with results to lemme know how it worked for you..

Yes you need the bodykit......the bulbs will show and if i'm not mistaken if the bulbs show its Illegal because its too distracting.

i think oem looks cleaner but wings west will do the job.

 

if you don't mind paying a bit more, get the led underbody kits. They are brighter, coloc selectable and programmable pattern. Much better choice than the dimmer, single color and pattern-less neon
