same problem over and over...

first time i brought my car in for stalling and rough idle they found a bad coil (so they said),a week later the problem came back,so they changed the pcm and fuel regulator(so they said),now 3 weeks later,i have the exact same problem, engine light went on along with the TCS and i had a hard time starting it,WHAT THE FUCK COULD IT BE(i think it's the damn dealer, they don't know what they're doing)
Anyone??????

my friend in acura service said they reset the computer whenever they do anything like new plugs, tranny maintenance, o2 sensors and so on,,, it supposedly is supposed to make the computer realize to check everything again wneh it resets and it picks up on the new plugs, sensore, egr valve or what ever you did, the computer is resposible for adjusting the air/fuel ratios and all that good stuff,,, it may run richer than normal if you have fouled plugs or a bad o2 sensor, after you fix those if you reset it it is supposed to notice the changes that way and adjust things for you..

From Acura's 1999 3.2TL Service Manual:

If you get a misfire code, and the "check engine" light comes on at low rpm/idle, the problem is most likely: low compression, bad fuel.

If you get a misfire code, and the "check engine" light comes on at high rpm/load, the problem is most likely: valves, check clearance (that's what happens to me sometimes!)

If you get a misfire code, and the "check engine" light comes on at mid/high rpm/load, problem is most likely: VTEC, check system.

that'S what i have for now.

The pcm is and will constantly check all values whether reset or not and compensate for them. No resetting is needed when changing anything!
I have never done this and no tech in our Acura dealership has done this.
The only thing that you may have to do is the idle learn procedure.
I've changed injectors, plugs, o2 sensors, cats., transmission solenoids, even swapped engines that a customer blew up and have not reset the pcm, no problems at all in future(comebacks).
