Step 1: Use search feature on TL forum.

Step 2-6: Put key in ignition. Press and hold SELECT and RESET buttons. While holding them, turn ignition to Accessory. Keep holding the buttons till the light goes off. Turn ignition off and then back on to test.

step One: Turn On The Ingnition To II
step Two: Hold The Select And Reset Button For Atleast 10 Seconds
step Three: Turn On Your Car To See If Its Turned Off

wrong. Step 1 is to push the 2 buttons in. step 2 is to then turn the key to position 2. If you do it they way you have it it changes the outside temp gauge a few deg

NEW USER SURVEY FORM

I have...

[X] not read the manual
[X] not searched the forum

...because...

[ ] the forum was down
[ ] I require immediate response for this critical problem
[ ] it's not in the manual
[ ] it's a brand new topic never before discussed
[X] I'm impatient and illiterate
[ ] I'm blaming my broken transmission

To help prevent further issues, I'm going to...

[X] purchase an owner's manual and/or helms manual
[X] practice by searching for non-issues so that I may quickly utilize the search function upon an emergency
[ ] do nothing and start a new topic even though there are already 2 topics on the first page of posts pertaining to my topic

As penance for my heresy, I will...

[X] service everyone's regular maintenance for the next 6 months
[ ] let you date my sister
[X] let you date both of my sisters
[X] enjoy a refreshing dr pepper as I memorize the entire manual as well as peruse the forum for dead horse topics

Don't you love it when the question gets answered correctly twice, then someone chimes in with the wrong instructions?

Yes it changes it permantley. It will raise or lower it up to 3 deg each way.
