2 questions....I have a 99 tl with center console problems. The gear shift is sticking because something was spilled in it and the light to the shifter is out. How do i replace the light and clean the shifter to keep it from sticking? It only sticks when the weather is cold. I think the liqued is freezing???

 

CRC electrical contact spray cleaner- shoot liberally as soda will get into the shifter microswitches and cause freaky problems
they are under the plastic plate, thats under the shift lever~

 

to replace the bulb, just pry the black trim piece enough so you can pull the four corners out with your fingers, the silver piece you just have to push to the right and pull up.. you will see the piece that shows p,r,n,d, etc.. just pull it out and the bulb is under.

 

I got a sticky CRC contact as well. I haven't had a chance to fix it.
