Removed Intake Resonator.

Removed my Intake Resonator today. Wasn't hard at all. Did it per instructions in the DIY section. Removing the bumper was the hardest part.

Most of the clips underneath the bumper were damaged pretty bad after I got them off. They didn't want to pop out. Took me a little while to figure out how to work the clips. After the bumper was off it was smooth sailing.

Had to get an extension to get the screw holding the Resonator that was the furthest back. The resonator was dirty, and some trash on the inside. Didn't know it could get in there? Bumper went back on pretty easy.

Car sounds beastly now when the RPM's go past 4.5. Definitely louder, deeper sound. Can't decide if I like the higher pitch scream, or the loud roar. Either way, I catch myself giving more gas than necessary to hear the sound. Best free mod you can do!

Yep thats next. I think this is the order I want to do my next mods...

1) OEM Spoiler

2) LED Fogs and Fog Light Mod

(Not sure, I'm getting my dad to help me on this one. I'm not very good with wires, and I don't trust myself messing with my car's electrical system. He's pretty good with this stuff, so I printed out the fog light mod DIY and gave it to him, still doesn't know about it... We'll see.)

3) Mid-Muffler Removal

4) CAI

I love the way my CAI sounds. I didn't have to remove my bumper though to install it.

I didn't notice the front end being lighter, but the engine feels like its breathing better.

It roars instead of screaming when the rpm's go past 4.5. The engine sounds a lot louder too. Plus, it frees the car of dead weight.

Good free mod!
