Rear Rotor Problem '02 TLS
I'm in the process of changing out the rear rotors, the rotor is separated from the hub but is still being held on by something, I tried shining a flashlight into the hole the rubber plug covers but still can't see shit in there. I'm looking for a little pen light flashlight right now as well, but no luck so far. Exactly what do I need to do to get the rotor off??
Thanks for any help.

found this from fsttyms1 from last year:
"you need to pull off the little rubber plug on the rear rotor and use a flash light. if yu dont know what your looking for it will be harder, there is place (if my memory remembers correctly) towards the bottom its a little gear you need to turn it so that it relieves pressure and loosens teh rear drum so that the rotor could come off. i had to turn mine in all the way to get my rotors off"
Not sure if I see a gear in there!

teh rear parking brake is a drum style. if you have the parking brake set it wont come off, also you will need to turn the little cam gear to losen the brake pads so that it comes off,
you need to look thru the hole and find this. and turn it

just got around to trying this again today. I turned that gear the only way it seemed you could turn it through the hole, by pushing the gears away from me, and I succeeded in tightening the parking brake! Now I have to figure out how to turn the gear TOWARD me to apparently loosen it.
Got it! When I was looking at the hole, I could only see the top part of the gear since there is a spring in front of it, so by me pushing that top part away from me with a screw driver, I tightened it at first. Only took a turn or two in the right direction to get the rotor loose when I turned the gear the right way!
