I INSTALLED AT BEST BUY A VIPER 791XV IN MY 03 TL. THE PROBLEM IS WHEN I REMOTE START THE CAR MY HORN HONKS SOMETIMES. tHIS ONLY HAPPENS SOMETIMES. I ASK THE INSTALLER AND HE SAID THAT ITS THE FACTORY ALARM GOING OFF BECAUSE THE CAR IS STARTED WHEN IT IS ARMED. ANYONE HAS THE SAME PROBLEM. BEST BUY SAID THEY NEED TO FIND A WAY TO DISARM THE FACTORY ALARM PERMANENTLY. ANY HELP WOULD BE A PPRECIATED

 

No offense, but chain places like Best BUy are the worst places to get an alarm installed. They do them all the same way, and typically do poor jobs on hiding the brain. On my TL-S, my installer had no problem integrating the factory, and Clifford alarm system with remote start that I chose. This really shoudlnt be an issue now that the car has been out awhile. Take it back, and demand they fix it right.
