Radar

I was wondering, I'm in the market for a radar detector, and I wanted to know which one was pretty good. I've read a few things about them, in magazines, and on this site, but which one works best for our car. I wanted different opinions....

Thanks,

V1, no complaints at all. love the directional arrows, i cant see myself using a detector without them.

its great to know where the radar is coming from, when you're passing it, etc.

First I tried to save a little money by buying a Bel 985. After two weeks of close calls, I gave it to my son in the service and told him not to depend on it too too much. Then I went with V-1. You can`t go wrong with a V-1. Yes it is expensive, but it is upgradable, and if you want your money back, They sell on E- Bay for 320-350 $. It is hard to be for an investment/ insurance. I travel mainly on interstate roads, on average 90-95 Mph. It has never let me down.

V1 or Escort 8500. They are the only 2 detectors that detect ProLaserIII. There are very different opinions on which one is better, but either way, you cant go wrong. I personally have a Valentine One and i wouldent get rid of it for anything...
