I got to change my 02TL fog light bulk . My question is can I use this bulk

What is 80W stand for and it's safe to use in our fog ?

I know 80W is 80 watts ...but it's the watts that product by the bulk in our 12 V fog ?
So it will be brighter then our stock OE 55w bulk , right ?

Bulk-? Bulb?

If you use a higher wattage bulb it will draw more current. To be safe you would have to make certain the wiring, socket, relay, etc. could handle it first.

Putting in a higher wattage bulb could cause overheating. They are already very hot bulbs. Stick with 55W

80w will probably be too much for that small housing and wiring? I would honestly get a HID kit. HIDs are 35w and you will get them to match your headlights.

come on guys..he said that hes french canadian..chill out with the spelling police..lol.

acurabum: I would go the HID conversion route. Like kris said-80 watts is too much. Not only will it produce extra heat, it will put a lot more strain on your wiring which could possibly cause a fire. You can buy the entire HID kit, bulbs included for roughly 59USD from ebay. If youre worried about the extra taxes involved, I think there is a place up there locally that sells the conversions for ~100. Canada members chime in for me?

HID bulbs only put out 35 watts and overall run cooler than halogen...HID kit wins!
