Question Question about Apex'i coilovers

My friend had some Apex'i coilovers in his garage. I knew they were from a accord, but i thot it was from a 4cyl accord. (dunno cuz they stripped down a accord =X) Anyways, i saw these like 3 months ago, didnt think about them cuz the springs look thin to me, so i thought they were for 4cyl. Well, i asked him for some reason last night if it was from a V6 or 4cyl. He said V6 since it had dual exaust.... So does anyone know if the Apexi springs are thin? Cuz i got the Eibachs, but they look fat and it curves... But if they are for my car, then i get a set of Apex'i coilovers for 400 bucks

i was actually inquiring about apex'i coilovers yesterday... from what the guy told me the ones on the 93-97 accords fit the 1st gen TL's (my ride) and the ones that fit 98 and up V6 accords fit the current TL's... i saw the coilovers and yes the springs look really thin and they looked really wound up against the shock... he quoted me $1900 Canadian... plus tax plus install... i declined.. so $400 US would be a steal!!!
i decided to go with the eibach springs.. less headache, less $$$, hopefully will get them by end of this week

Coilover tend to have narrower springs. That's just how they're designed. If the coilover's you were looking at looks anything like the one below, then I say go for it. BTW, these were the Apexi coilovers that I got from Tim, for my V6 Accord.

If you can get the Apex'i coilovers for $400 then definitely go for it. I am planning to purchase them really soon for the HIN on April 7 down in Atlantic City.

You really can't beat these coilovers. Made in Fuji and very well constructed. They will last along time.

sorry for the late reply man,
it was $1900 plus tax and install..at JRP (in north mississauga)they dont' cut deals either

$1985 at hi-tech plus install (i dunno about tax.. didn't bother asking)it's on shepard and midland

bc auto was stuck up about it over the phone and asked me to come in, i didn't cuz i knew the price range and i live in mississauga and didn't wanna bother going up all the way to markham

coilovers for $2000+++ is not worth it for me cuz i don't go racing anyways

yeah i ordered the eibach springs two days ago, hopefully getting it installed the end of next week (i got it at hi-tech just cuz i got some stuff done with them before and i'm satisfied with the service)

then i'm off to wheels direct for new rims
