Opinions: Windshield Tint

I've gotten the urge to tint my windshield 50%

Ive already got 20 percent on all the windows.

My question is, will this type of tint look weird on my car with black tint?

Thats reflective tint on the windshield. Should I get that reflective tint on my windshield only or keep it with the regular black tint.

The reason for this question is because black tint will be noticeable to police a lot more versus that reflective tint, which makes it look like the reflection is just from the glass.

actually, i saw a few cars tinting their front windshield quite dark and i must say it makes the car seem like a joke - (compromising function for looks) - it may look badass but i can imagine it giving you hell in rainy weather.

But since you're just thinking about getting 50% tints, that's perfect. I think the better choice is the reflective tint, for reasons you mentioned above and also because it looks great- gives your car that dramatic look, emulating the clean reflection of the sky.

If your car is a show car, do it. DD, then no.

no where in the usa to my knowledge- allows tinting of the front glass
Many states already say no to driver/front door window tints
Reflective is dangerous to everyone around you- sun blindness flashes
Dark tint is dangerous to you-cant see out at all,, but it wont be long till you hit some road object and the car will be a write off
When I had really dark front door tints years ago, had to roll down the window to see on left turns from stoplights at night, easy to catch a concrete center barrier in town~

50% would be just right.

IMO get the normal charcoal black tint. 50% isn't that bad either. My friend has it on his car and you can see out of it just fine in the rain, snow, whatever. It wouldn't be that much of a change at all.

I put slightly reflective tint on the windshield first, and it looked awful since the rest of the tint was not reflective. It was an eyesore.

I stipped it and had it re-done.
