Strange VSA problem

The VSA and ABS light come on when the tires lose traction, as is should, but, stays on afterward. After turning the car off and restarting it, the lights go off. What to look at, wheel sensors? TB VSA switch?
thanks!

Maybe next time they come on bring the car to a auto parts store to see if they can get a code while they are on.

how are you causing them to lose traction? ice at stop signs?
are you intentionally making it do the work, with the system hammering the ABS to slow the spinning wheel?
It only goes to 16mph -25kph and stops working, figuring by that time you have let off the gas and regained control

as said above- try to get to a parts store with it running and light on
they can try and pull the codes without the warning light on but it doesnt always store every code-
worth a try today, then next time it happens, call on your way over so you dont have to shut off the car

possible suspect speed sensor at wheels- wire corrodes or gets damaged/broken at brake service, or debris on road can snag the wire
