need your idea's/advice

As you all prob know that i run mid 16's on quarter time. I did seafoam but what else can i do to clean the car to the actual time which i heard is 15.7?

Elevation and temperature may be a factor to your time also.

As for maintenance, do the 105K maintenance, change the fluids, run seafoam, inspect your motor mounts, etc. Start doing performance mods too. If you're still not happy, get a type-S.

are u in ss? gate shifting? d5? what mods do u have done? are u completely stock? years and years of wear and tear on the engine will decrease the time.

I am about 2000 feet higher than sea level. I used D5 and just stomped on it.

gate shift. but running at the track over and over again will kill ur trans. very fast bc we have some shitty trans

thanks but if i change the spark plugs and remove intake resonator and add k&n drop in filter how much will that knock off the time?

hard to say. but one tenth. all depends on the weather. make two base runs than do that and make more runs. same day

but even if it is the weather or elevation that shouldnt slow down by 1 whole second?

i did 14.9 in my 02 tl-s, intake resonator delete, k&n drop in filter, ss mode, no spare tires or tools.

When was your last tune up?

Put some fuel injector cleaner in the gas tank next time you fill up. It will make a slight difference.

by tune up you mean like putting in fuel injector i did that in the summer. anything else?

lol i dont have money for a six speed swap. and my tranny is still to good to do a swap anyways. so what else can i do?

sorta unrelated but i read somewhere that a 09+ scion tc's manual stock can beat a 1999-2003 tl stock "pees" is that true?

More specifically, their a throttle body like thing in the intake, between the filter box and tb, and when the tires slip the valve closes which reduces ur power
