hey guys, I want to know if I can change the front signal bulbs without remove the bumper? If so, how can I do it?

Yeah You can.

1. What you need to do is if ur changing the right turn signal then turn the wheels all the way to the left, so this will give you clearance in the wheel well.

2. Then you should see a couple of gromets/plastic clips that you can remove, no more then 3.

3. This will allow you to pull the black plastic back and open up enough clearance, so that you can get your hand in there and reach for the turn signal holder.

4. Rotate counter clockwise i believe and the holdster with the bubl should come out and there should be enough slack in the wire for you to pull the assembly out so you can take the bulb out of the socket.

5. Reverse the process to put bulb back in

*** Same principle applies to the other side, just turn the wheels the other way to give you maximum clearance on that side. ****

No more than 15mts. for both. Pretty stupid design if you ask me, but what can you do.

 

Do you have a step by step for taking out the Fogs? I haven't even looked under the front of my car yet to attempt but have my HID style fogs I want to put in...

I had another question. Will the 1156 Bulb fit the front signal?
Since I have a 2000 TL with clear headlight. I don't want the amber when I turn on my light. I only want it amber when it blink. So what can I do?

Hello neighbor!! I live in Wantagh.. not too far from ya!! I went to MacArthur.

Do what I did or lot of members on this site did, but the APC Titanium Bulbs, that are silver coated but glow amber. You can get them at Pepboys, or Autobarn. Should be about 5 bux per bulb and you'll find it usually in your ricer aisle. The bulb itself looks like this and it will blend in with your housing.



As far as bulb size that goes in your fronts, its a 1157 and a 1156 in your rears turn signals. The bulb application guide can be found in the below link:
