Lol, 300M

Just watching tv and a flick came up for the 300M. They noted that it was the most powerful car in its class. I love how car companies use creatice statistics to advertise. As I recall, this car has about the same hp as the TLs but the TLs had a 2 second faster quarter mile.. 2 SECONDS! Sloppy car...

Technically, I believe they are correct. The 300M is classified as a full size while the TL/TL-S is classified as a midsize. Correct me if I am wrong.

Either way, it is a freaking boat!

All Dodges seem to underperform, with the exception of the Viper, of course. Even the 240+ HP Dodge Intrepid R/T takes 8.8 seconds to get to 60. Good Lord, most 4-cylinders get to 60 faster than that. Props to the interior styling on Chryslers, though.

300M with Performance Handling Package(PHP) actually handles pretty well, for its size.... pretty decent car, IMO.... probably one of the better car made by Chrysler in the 90's.... I even considered 300M before I got TLS... even after first test drive of TLS... but the 2nd test drive really had my mind set.... 300M Special looks pretty cool, though.... but 4-speed auto is a let down...

P.S. Love the gauges in 300M... That warm, green glow...

I also believe the 300M is not in the same size, and is a full size car, as is a Crown Vic, or the previous Impala.

Yep the 300M is a full sized car. I had a 2000 before I got my CL-S. It was too big for me. I also had the performance package, & hooked the car up nice. It handled very well. It was a bit slow though. I also loved the gauges, & the interior.

Hey all. Stop dissing 300M, please. It is a great car. The acceleration from 0 is not as great as it could be but that's because the transmission is not geared for that. At high speeds it accelerates very well and cruises past 100mph without effort. And it corners very well too.

Marauder is full size alright(so is 300M), but with beef up V8, it's not as fast as it should be... weird.....
