Knock Sensor Help, Please

On my 2002 TL non-S, I am getting the OBD code P0325 (Faulty knock sensor on bank 1). Where is the sensor and is it hard to replace?

Thanks in advance,
Daniel

the knock sensor is #8, and it's cheap... as to if it's easy? ...

I can't really tell if it is in the side of the engine or if it is in between the cylinders, underneath the manifold and intake runners... we need someone with a helms to post in here

If its on the side it's easy, just gotta get your hands near it... if its in the center, going to need to remove the intake manifold runners, and everything else to get access down there...

easy for me but what's your skill

Last week I took off the upper intake manifold to clean out the carbon and I replaced the EGR valve. I'll have to do it again and a bit more to replace this knock sensor. Thanks.

more trouble...

I took apart the intake manifold and the wire leading to the knock sensor is gone! I cannot believe that mice live there and chew away at that one cable, but fact is that it's gone. I guess I am off to the Acura dealer....

I have the same problem with my knock sensor. Wires are chewed up. Can someone please give me a procedure to replace the sensor. I am quite handy mechanically, and have worked on VW's before, but never an Acura.
Thanks in advance!

KS usually don't go bad. You may have a chaffed wire or a short to ground.
