K40 Undetectable installs?
I was wondering if any TL owners have installed the K40 undetectable radar? I was curious where people chose to put the LED's?
I've read through the past topics on radars and which is best, etc. I'm more curious if anyone has gone through the install and where the LED's and controls were mounted and how it looks\functions?
Thanks!!

I believe most people have opted for the Valentine One radar detector. It seems to be one of the best. I've heard good things about the K40 as well.
Ever think of mounting it in the CD holder. It's pretty much useless anyway and would be a easy spot to see when driving.

- Comptech Springs, Sways, Exhaust, and Headers
- Red AEM CAI
- A'PEXi Digital VTEC AFC

- Clifford Intelliguard 9000 alarm

The CD holder would be a good spot, but I have nav....there's gotta be someone with a TL who has the Undetectable K40? I am thinking somewhere on the cluster panel....
On the left and right sides of the middle gauge....maybe one led on each side.

Perhaps you could mount in near the gauge cluster by using a piece of bent sheet metal and have it coming out from behind the dash bezel. That way you could remove it easily without any evidence of it being there, like holes or anything like that.
Just thought I'd throw the idea out there...

I just came from an installer. He wants to charge me $1000.00 installed for k40. This includes the front/rear radar detectors in bumpers. Also the front/rear laser deflectors.
Is this a good price. I still like the bogey counter on the V1.. Plus its 400 bucks!
