Talking Just installed mudguards on my TL

I know what most of you think, are u nuts? Well no. It was pretty easy to do. Took about an hour. I took off the tires and then just screwed the thing on. The hardest part was taking off the tires. Just unscrew the screws then just match up the holes from the guard and the screw holes on the car. Then screw in, do this for all four sides.

Washed my car after I finished, took another 1/2 hour for that.

NO I just bought them from someone on this board, and received them yesterday. I'll take them off when I get my body kit. Won't be this year even.

I added them too; it was very easy. I didn't even have to pull the tires off.
If you buy a body kit, you'll have to take the mud guards off.

I just took my mud guards off. The back ones didnt really leave any marks but on the front they scratched the hell out of the paint and my car is only six months old. I took them off b/c i might want to get the body kit and didnt want to damage the paint anymore.

Were your set of screwdrivers all too long or something? cuz I had no problems with the wheels on while taking off my guards. Use one of those stubby ones if you can

oh yeh, my front guards damaged my paint too, NB. This is about 8months after purchase. Im thinking of putting em back on after I wax those parts. I hate looking at the scratches.

I had to screw it on in an angle, so I said damn, just took off the wheels to make it easier for myself.

Hey J,
You better be careful because a few people already said that the front mudguards messes up the paint. Plus you are not getting a bodykit for over a year so I recommend that you don't do it. But since you did it already, better start praying it doesn't mess up your paint up front.
