Post IS300 drivers must not be too bright

I've read many kill stories against IS300's in our threads, and although I think its kind or a cool looking toy car with some respectable numbers and features, the few drivers I've run across must not have much brain power. Yesterday i ran across a yellow IS while I was actually driving my other car. The IS pulled up on me in traffic so I just manuevered to stay ahead of him by a little. It was behind me when the highway ahead opened up and I figured I'd give him a taste of failure so I just opened it up a bit, let the VTEC kick in and the yellow car became a small dot in the rearview mirror very quickly. Now why the heck would an IS try to race me in my S2000? Dumb, dumb, dumb. This isn't the first time either. What's up with that? I mean. the car is like a perfectly modded out Civic or EL, and I respect that, but geez...

Thumbs up

Way to go Yu888! Up here in Vancouver, we get lots of riced up toy cars (that Mommy or Daddy bought for them) driven by Asian drivers who think they are driving Formula 1 and acting like idiots. BTW...you can't call me racist as I'm Asian as well. Just my thoughts.

Yeah, the whole pacific coast has the same situation, but I don't think its limited to a certain group since I've smoked drivers of every color! I guess I am an equal opportunity racist...errr, i mean racer.

Not been to the track with the S car yet, scheduled to do so along with a performance course at Sears Point in early Spring. Looking forward to that. Too bad I cant take BOTh cars to check it out on the track. I'll bet the TL would even be fun to see what it can do with some mods.

Funny cuz I get that a lot but from Civic Si drivers. 90% of the time I just let them pass me cuz no point. The other 10% of the time, I'm just in a "kick a Civic ass" mood.

That happens to me a lot with civics with giant, loud tailpipes. I have no mods on my car, so I cant understand why they constantly rev those shitty little engines when they get next to me.

IS300= cars for wannabe ricers that are too lazy to do the mods themselves. Don't bother flaming me, it's just my opinion.

They try to fuc% with me all the time too, and I also have a stock TL. If their car is supposed to handle so much better, these people must not know how to drive because I kill them all the time.

the IS looks kewl for a racing car, but with a ***** engine and a ***** tranny... kinda like the 1999 Subaru 2.5 RS, they have the same exterior as the WRX in other countries such as Japan and Taiwan, but the engine is not Turbo charged. This year, Subaru is gonna bringing the WRX because they have the market and the car passed the test. I've met some 2.5RS drivers that tried to race me.... I mean, those are some kewl-looking cars, but with a ***** engine... Same thing happened on the IS300...
O well, just smoke one more yesterday, so... stupid ****ing idiot...

Maybe he just wanted to see how bad he'd get smoked?
Have you run the S2000 in the quarter yet?

Well, I just recently brought a Carbon Bronze 2008 Type S over the 4G Acura. Why? Because the 3G TYPE S have always been my dream car and plus the looks of it just makes me melt to the ground. After taking it home for one day, met an iS350 out on the road but for some reason I didn't think I could defeated that car. I was at 130mph already and ahead of the iS350. I even checked my rear mirror and I could see him.

Isn't it suppose to be at least the same speed and power since the lexus is also a 3.5 too? If it's true that the Type S 3.5 is faster than the is350 then I'm lucky to have chosen the right car.
