Mista Juice: Treat others as you would like to be treated. Maybe you should switch to de-caf?

because it makes them feel tough.

i think we need to be nice and helpful to the newbies, not scare them off. we have all been in the same situation as them at one point, be it 3-4 years ago like the more experienced aziners, or a couple months like me.

i dont like these new threads as much as the next person, but maybe there should be something like a 5 post minimum before being able to start a new thread? that way people will explore the forum more and maybe find their answer instead of starting new threads right away to ask simple questions.

its not an "online" thing.. i get just as irritated about lazy people in "real life" too.. theres just no way this person could have searched for this topic and they simply wanted someone else to do it for them.. most people on the other message boards im on know that im just blunt and to the point.. if you take it as rude/asshole-ish or otherwise, so be it.. im just typing what im thinking..

and the decaf comment wouldnt apply to me since i dont drink coffee.. the meth i got recently seems a bit stronger, so maybe thats it..

Plain and simple telling me or someone that has been here a few years to search, or the response you did is one thing. Telling a "NEW" member what you did is another and wont be tolerated Let this be a warning to all. DONT DO IT!

Exactly. It's the guy's second post! He probably doesn't even understand how to search. I didn't when I was new.

FYI, the moderators are here to HELP people and to explain the process and guidelines. We can't be everywhere. We expect more experienced members to help the newer ones when an opportunity arises.

There are all kinds of forums. Here, we like to have things run smoothly and civilly. With over 100,000 members, we must do so.

why do you assume the person is lazy if you have never met them?
