Question Hyper ground and voltage system.

I just installed my CAI in my TL and loves the feel of the ride. Now I'm thinking about Installing a Grounding system in my ride. The thing is I don't know which to choose from, the Hyper Ground System or the Hyper Voltage System. What is the difference between them? How will they improve my ride? Which one should I buy?
Please help, any suggestion is welcome.

From my understanding, the hyper grounding is all that...just hype. Save your money for better mods.

Take out the "*" from the links below for more info on why hyperground kits are bogus. Look for Austin519's comments in these threads.

People often suggest to skip this mod as they think it brings insignificant if not zero gains in power. I have read many things about the Hyper Ground System and they do seem to help a little, 2 HP at the most. New cars usually don't need this mod because all the electrical stuff is high tech and electricity loss is at its minimum already. I would say save the money for something else.

I have installed both Hyper Voltage System & Hyper Grounding on my 2002 TL type-s And yes I can feel a little more power off the line.
I would say for 2-5 hp its worth it.

Don't skip the hyperground - just don't buy a pre made one..

get a few feet of four gauge wire and a handful of compress connectors, that is exactly what they will sell you for 90 bucks and you can buy the supplies for less than 40 and do it yourself.

i have a custom made grounding kit, 4gauge wiring with gold plated connectors. do they work? i couldn't tell you if there was a diff. what is diff is i get a whining sound any and everytime i turn my wheel. i think it has something to do with the fact that it's connected to the power steering pump? dunno why, but it does!

It's all in your head. No way on god's green earth are you going to be able to feel 2-5 hp difference on a 260 hp car. Not happening.

Yes, but the $ to HP ratio is better than other popular mod such as catback/axelback exhaust. Turbo will give the most gain but not few have the $ and time to invest in such custom project -> highest absolute gain is nice but not everyone can afford it.

make your own kit... it's so easy..

it'll help your gaz milleage and will help the car's electrical system to work better/easier... and it can make your car "quicker" off the line... it helps give it a little punch.

Just follow that link and do the above procedure. IMO way better then any grounding kit. A lot of these grounding kits have you bolt everything to some metal plate which is less then ideal. If you run any kind of aftermarket sound system in your car you should definitely do the "big 3" as it’s called in the thread above. I can tell you that after doing it in my car I did notice just a tiny bit more responsiveness. I don't think you gain horsepower or anything but your alt should run more efficiently so might tax the engine just a bit less. Also the method above is like $20 in wire and connectors.
