they said the lowest they can do is $14000

its a 2001 satin silver 3.2 TL with 56k mileage

Body looks pretty good it has no scratches or any dents at all
interior leather looks pretty new

everythings stock with no modifications at all

it was a company lease return vehicle
carfax report showing no accident record

i don't know if it is a good price

but is there anything i should pay more attention to on a used 3.2 tl?
like what are the important, expensive parts and the parts that has most problems?

First, I'm going to assume that its not Acura certified, which leads to some questions about the overall vehicle condition. I would definitely advise having a mechanic check it out. The transmission should still be covered under the recall, although I've read people having problems with brakes too.

As for the price, it doesn't seem too bad to me. I bought a 2002 with 42 certified for a few thousand more earlier this year.

i don't think that's a bad price. but like Revanche said, you definately should get a mechanic to check up on it.

I don't think the price is bad at all, since trade in value on that car is around $14,000. Which is what the dealer would give you if you traded it in.

I bought my 2001 tl with 53,000 miles for around 16,000 but that included a warranty.

Go to Edmunds.com and appraise it yourself (should take a few minutes to get market value)

Not bad if it's Acura inspected/certified. I got my '02 TL-P for a shade over $16k.. it had 56k miles. It was off ebaymotors though. If you can find an '02 or '03 for a few k more, I'd def. spring for it... the extra features such as fogs, memory seats and 6 CD in dash changer are nice.
