I heard 7-7.2 for 0-60 for the TL and I personally went up to 147 mph (still pulling). But like it was mentioned before, in 4th gear it takes a while to pick up speed. And of course the TL's sweet spot is in 3rd gear.

Your TL should be able to beat Accord V6, non Type R Integras, Camry V6, Maxima V6 (automatics easily; sticks will be close), Lexus IS300, Lexus ES300, Infinit I30, entry level Bimmers and Mercedes too. I think this says that the TL is a pretty good value as far as price and performance goes.

PS: I wouldn't go racing any V8 Camaros or Corvettes or BMW M3's if I were you though.

Hey I just test drove the type-R few days ago. It was on country road... So I really had the chance to open it up...

The only think I can say is that our TL has no chance... The Type-R got very good low end torque IMHO... nothing like the S2000...

I slowed down for a light... and I was able to pull in 4th... by slowed down, I meant almost to a stop... The car was amazing, doesn't feel like a FWD at all...

According to Car and Driver, 0-60 in 7.4 seconds. The CL-S was 6.8. I'm not sure if the TL-S will have the same times.

I believe MT clocked the TL-P at 6.8, but MT always seems to post faster times. They clocked the S at something like 6.5.

Remember that the TL is a 6-cyl with plenty of low-end torque and an automatic transmission. If it had a stick it'd be a bit faster, and cars such as the Integra Type-R are beatable if you catch them off-guard, 'cause that engine has to spin pretty fast to develop good power. No skill required to go fast in the TL.

When you get it and it's broken in, you'll find that it's pretty darn quick all the way up to about 90 MPH until it shifts into 4th gear. The acceleration from 60-85 is really impressive if you've never owned a powerful car, and the sound of the engine always draws compliments from passengers as well. Enjoy!
